Monthly Meetings
The Society meets at 7:30pm on the second Thursday of each month at the Safe Schools Institute located at 1790 NW Spanish River Blvd, Boca Raton, FL 33433.
All orchid lovers are welcome to attend our meetings, check out what is happening and meet our members. Everyone is welcome, no experience necessary – just an appreciation of the fantastic variety of the world of orchids and a desire to learn more!

Program: Orchid Problems: What You Need to Know
Presenter: Judy Bailey
Judy Bailey has always been an enthusiastic plant aficionado. As a long time Master Gardener, both in Ohio and Florida as well as a Senior Judge with the American Orchid Society, Judy embraces opportunities to learn, share and teach plant knowledge, frequently speaking with many local South Florida orchid societies, garden clubs, botanical gardens and Master Gardener classes.
Our BROS Election of Officers for 2027 will take place at this meeting at 6:30 PM before the presentation. There will be NO plant judging, raffles, or member plant sales due to the election. Please be sure to check out the election details on Page 4 & 5 of the November newsletter.

Our Orchid Society
The Boca Raton Orchid Society began in 1989 with just 27 members. Since then, the Society has grown tremendously and now has a membership of more than 140 members. Our subtropical climate is perfect for growing an astounding variety of warm to intermediate temperature orchids in Palm Beach County. Each year our members enjoy several fun-filled orchid events, including an Awards meeting in December and the highlight event, our Annual Valentines Show & Sale scheduled for February 13 - 14, 2027.
